Mercury Retrograde Is Your Friend

Mercury, AKA Hermes, rules over learning, communication, commerce, travel, bridging gaps, how we create and communicate value, fertility, translation, interpretation, divination, boundaries, luck, and even syncing up with yourself. He is a guide to the underworld and a messenger to the gods! He also has associations with people who are queer, different, trickster and fae.

When Mercury goes apparent retrograde, we get an opportunity to go over these aspects of our lives with a fine-toothed comb. We get to slow down, listen, and integrate what we are learning at a deeper level.

Personal Identity + Relationship with Collective/Subconscious will be up for re-examination during this period!  This is the PERFECT time to sort some things.  You could...

• pull an old offer, manuscript, or project out of the drawer, dust it off, and get excited about it again
• Take inventory of skills and accomplishments that you might normally downplay and overlook. Value yourself first! Put your personal inventory to paper in a resume, story, or bio, and appreciate what you look like all packaged up with a bow
• Organize your harddrive
• Figure out what parts of you aren't experiencing good communication with each other, and instigate a dialog
• Take a hard look at where you need to set boundaries
• With Venus retrograde as well, this is a good time to review lessons that have to do with love, money, and relationships.
