I was talking to my friend in New York yesterday and I mentioned that I’ve been taking exercise every day and it’s doing wonders for my physical and mental health. They were like “oh yeah? what have you been doing?” and I said that I had been walking, and we both laughed because a New Yorker probably gets an easy four miles in every day just from getting around the city.
And when I walk, people offer me rides because they think that I must be in a lurch without a car!
But anyway. Walking is my thing. It’s not everyone’s thing. Not everyone wants to, and some people can’t. But whatever the thing is that makes you feel great, I hope you proactively make time to do it, because you deserve to enjoy life from a full cup.
